After Covid: ‘I’ve blood clots and a braced leg, but I’m home’

After battling Covid-19, I thought the worst was over. Little did I know that the virus had left lasting effects on my body. I developed blood clots in my lungs, making it difficult to breathe and move. Doctors had to brace my leg due to muscle weakness caused by the virus.

Despite the challenges I faced, I am grateful to be home with my loved ones. The road to recovery has been long and daunting, but I am taking it one day at a time. I am determined to regain my strength and mobility.

It has been a humbling experience to rely on others for help with daily tasks. I have learned to appreciate the little things in life and not take my health for granted. I am slowly but surely making progress, and I know that I will overcome these obstacles.

My journey post-Covid has been filled with ups and downs, but I remain hopeful and positive. I am grateful for the support of my family, friends, and healthcare providers who have been by my side every step of the way.

While the road to recovery may be challenging, I am determined to come out stronger on the other side. I am grateful for each day that I am able to spend at home, surrounded by love and support. I know that I will conquer this battle and emerge victorious.
